iSPY iFIND

As much as we try to keep work at work, we know that there are times away from the office when we just wish we could access something to quickly check on it.  This is also true when using Aspect and we have the answer for you with iFIND.  Whether it is from the beach on your tablet or while traveling between stores on your smart-phone, iFIND will be at your fingertips.

Easy-to-Use Web-Based Reporting
iFIND is Aspect's web-based reporting solution that allows you to perform queries and generate reports just as you would with Aspect EliteLP. Now, analysis is just as easy as checking your local weather forecast. iFIND allows you to perform your loss prevention analysis from the convenience of your favorite web browser and has been designed to work in concert with your EliteLP software solution.

Convenience Reaches a New Level
iFIND takes advantage of the Internet to provide you continuous access to your exception-based reporting tools. Because iFIND is browser-based, you can produce iFIND reports with any device that has Internet access and a standard graphical browser. You can even use iFIND with your Internet-ready smart-phone or tablet. iFIND can be used with the most popular web browsers, including Internet Explorer™, Firefox™, Safari™, Chrome™ and others. Now, whether you're at the office, at a hotel, or at home, your reports are only a website visit away!

Streamlined Reporting
iFIND has been designed to work seamlessly with your Aspect EliteLP implementation. It has also been streamlined to make your reporting process flow smoothly and easily. Standard reporting features of iFIND include access to EliteLP's most popular queries, as well as access to your custom reports (commonly referred to as "Ad-Hoc" reports). With iFIND, you'll be more proactive with access to your most successful reports from virtually anywhere!

Network Flexibility
With iFIND you can design your network of analysts to be as diverse as you like. You can use iFIND in a strict "internal-only" computer network or in a widely dispersed extranet, making iFIND truly global. However you choose to use iFIND, you can feel confident knowing that it can be as flexible as you need it to be. iFIND also works seamlessly with most security strategies currently in use, including VPN, GoToMyPC, etc.

Lower Total Cost of Ownership
Aspect's iFIND reporting solution now makes it unnecessary for network administrators to go through the burdensome task of distributing and installing proprietary client software for each analyst. Now, all a network administrator is required to do is provide the web address of your iFIND website. With the ability to activate reporting capabilities quickly and easily, your technical personnel will experience a dramatic reduction in support time requirements, ultimately saving your organization substantial time and money
.
So if having all your Aspect reporting at your fingertips from the beaches of Cabo to the mountains of Colorado, is your need, as long as you have internet access, iFIND will help keep the mice from playing while the cat is away.

Store Profile... Part

I hope many of you have had a chance to take a look at the Store Profile feature in Aspect EliteLP.  We have had some questions so I wanted to do a second posting to make the process a little more clear for our users.

Building store groups from the Store Profile Master allows you to build a dynamic criteria-based store group from your store master file.  You may want to create groups for super stores, or new stores, or any other criteria.  The amount of data you have in your store file will determine the effectiveness of this feature.  After you make changes to your store file you will need to come back to this feature and re-create your groups. The window is divided into two main areas.  The list of your groups is at the top, and the attributes for the selected group appear at the bottom. The more detailed steps for this will be on our LinkedIn page.
Creating store group definitions is a simple process.  First you must click on the New toolbar button.  This will add a new line to the list at the top of the window.  Enter the name you want for this group.  This name will appear throughout the system so you will want to make it as descriptive as possible.  Then you can start adding attributes in the bottom portion of the window.  When you are done, make sure you Save your changes, and then press the Create Group button to actually create a group with those stores that meet the criteria.

After you have defined a store group and created it, you will have to periodically update the group with this function as your store list changes.  If you make extensive use of this function to build store groups, you may want to regularly update the groups you create by returning to this function once per week and re-creating the groups. To recreate a group, select the group name, adjust the attribute list if necessary, and click on Create Group. The application will prompt you to delete the existing group and then rebuild a new version of the group.

I hope that this information serves to clarify my first store profile post.  Using the store profile is going to be a great way for you to get even more out of your Apsect EliteLP program.
